Breathe New Life Into Your Dead Disk

 

 

Following on from the successful recovery of large amount of customers data from dead or dying disks resulting from disk failure, Local PC Geek offers a cost effective Data Recovery Service.

If you have an Internal or External (eg USB or Firewire) Hard Disk that is no longer readable or working, send us the disk and we will recover the data from it.

On recovering the data, it will be moved to an error free section of the disk, and the bad portions of the disk will be  marked as unusable. The disk can then be used again, often breathing new life into a disk that was often thought as broken as the bad portions are never accessed again, which would normally create errors.

Some customers then ask us to move the data to a new disk to as the dying disk could degrade further. This work can be carried out by us.

In the unlikely event we cannot recover the data that was previously accessible, we will not charge you a penny for our services, only the cost of returning the disk to you. Alternatively we can recycle the disk for you at no cost.

Disks must be sent to us via recorded or special delivery

Recovery of Disk - £20

 ● Mark of bad portions of disk to ensure no data is attempted to be stored on them again

Note: This does not include cost of returning the disk to your chosen address, which will we charge at cost.


Note: If you want to transfer data to a new hard disk, this does not include cost of new hard disk sourced from our competitive suppliers, which will we charge at cost. Alternatively you can supply your own.
